End of the ‘09
Ah yes, an end-of-the-year blog! I can’t say it’s my favorite year but 2009 was a hell of a roller coaster ride. My share of breakdowns and misfortunes were more frequent than last year but I also had a healthy share of new experiences and friends.
I don’t usually take note of my new year’s resolution but I already have some things I want to do next year. I want next year to be productive overall but I have to take things step-by-step, here’s a more specific list for bite-sized brain processing.
- Do Project 365 -take a picture everyday.
- Fill up a PageOne journal – I can bind my own journal but PageOne journals have nice paper to paint on. I should add colors to my sketches. The hard thing is that bookstores don’t restock these journals frequently.
- Work on a more professional concept art portfolio – More character designs, more background designs.
- Join ConceptArt.org – I always think I’m not worthy enough to join them but darnit, I need more guidance on illustration.
- Make a new or alternate DeviantART account – Aside from the embarassingly long name my current account has, I want an account that can be recognized for the concept art I’ll be working on.
That’s all I can think of right now but those certainly won’t be the only changes happening. Happy New Year everyone!
